Rather than rushing the experience, spend the morning taking in the dramatic clifftop scenery, hidden coves, sea arches, and Atlantic viewpoints along one of the Algarve's signature coastal walks. Wear sturdy footwear, bring plenty of water and sun protection, and arrange transportation around your chosen start and finish points in advance.
  • Afternoon: After the trail, continue into Carvoeiro and make your way to Algar Seco. Explore the dramatic limestone formations, caves, natural pools, and Atlantic viewpoints, making sure not to miss A Boneca — one of Algar Seco's signature rock formations, where a narrow passage leads to a small chamber with natural openings overlooking the ocean. From there, continue along the Carvoeiro Boardwalk, taking in the clifftop scenery before returning toward Algar Seco. When you're ready to slow down, stop at Restaurante Boneca Bar, tucked into the cliffs, for a late lunch, drinks, or an early meal overlooking the Atlantic.   • Afternoon: Keep the birthday afternoon completely open. Book a spa treatment, spend a few more hours by the water, have a light lunch, or return to your room early to get ready without rushing. Tonight is the centerpiece of the trip.
  • Evening: Begin the birthday evening at Mirador Champagne Bar, perched above Praia da Falésia with sweeping views across the Atlantic. Arrive around 6:15–6:30 PM, while there is still plenty of daylight, and settle in with champagne and cocktails as golden hour transitions into sunset. Take your time enjoying the views and capturing a few birthday photos before continuing the celebration at Maré at Pine Cliffs for an oceanfront birthday dinner around 8:00 PM.
